What You’ll Do

1. Social Strategy Development

  • Collaborate with clients to define social media goals and align them with broader marketing objectives.
  • Build comprehensive strategies for long-term organic and paid growth.

2. Social Media Management

  • Manage and grow multiple client accounts across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.
  • Plan and schedule content, monitor performance, engage audiences, and implement campaign optimizations.
  • Support the execution and optimization of paid social media campaigns.

3. Account Management

  • Serve as the point of contact for clients regarding social media initiatives.
  • Attend regular check-ins, provide updates, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure deliverables are met with excellence and on time.

4. Content Marketing Support

  • Assist with broader content initiatives such as magazine production, photoshoots, and content brainstorming sessions.
  • Collaborate with creative and editorial teams to enhance marketing campaigns.

5. Content Creation

  • Create compelling graphics and visuals using tools like Canva.
  • Capture and edit social media-friendly photo and video content using our DJI tools or smartphones.
  • Apply basic video editing skills to produce shareable content.

6. Results-Driven Execution

  • Monitor performance through analytics dashboards and tracking tools.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to clients, demonstrating ROI and areas for improvement.
  • Continuously refine strategies based on data and performance trends.

What Your Day Looks Like
No two days are exactly alike in this dynamic role, but here’s a look at what a typical day might include:

Social Media Strategy & Planning

Start the day by developing tailored social strategies for a mix of clients. You'll map out calendars, audience targeting, and key content themes while syncing with account managers to ensure alignment.

Social Media Management

Oversee daily organic and paid content scheduling, audience engagement, and performance checks across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You're the engine behind each client's growing online presence.

Account & Client Management

Participate in client meetings and manage ongoing communications to keep projects aligned and on track. You'll be both strategist and trusted advisor.

Content Marketing & Production Support

Support content creation efforts across Spotlight Media’s platforms—from assisting in photo shoots to contributing to content strategy for print and digital publications.

Hands-On Content Creation

Use Canva, DJI tools, and your smartphone to create and edit photo and video content that performs on social. Your creativity fuels our client brands.

Analytics & Results

Wrap up the day reviewing analytics, preparing reports, and adjusting strategies based on what's working. You're constantly learning from the data and using it to improve results.
